VITAL SYSTEMS, WORSHIP

Text: 1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
The church is the body of Christ. In the human body there are nine systems. The repertory system, the skeletal system, the nerve system, the circulatory etc… In every Church there are should be five systems. These systems are; evangelism, disciple, worship, fellowship, and ministry.
We are going to look at each one of these systems. Today we will look at worship.

23But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Is there a designated place to worship today?
We are to worship God everywhere we go.
If we worship him everywhere, then why do we come to church?
We come to church to show off our new clothes, to make business connections etc…
We come to church to learn the word, to fellowship and of course for congregational worship.
When and how do we worship?
In church. The offering of grateful homage in words or song, as an act of worship: a hymn of praise to God.
To render religious reverence and homage, as to a deity.
To attend services of divine worship.
At home. The family that prays together stays together.
At work. Sing someone's praises, to praise someone publicly and enthusiastically: He is always singing his wife's praises.
The act of expressing approval or admiration; commendation; laudation.
When shopping etc… Sing someone's praises, to praise someone publicly and enthusiastically: He is always singing his wife's praises.
The act of expressing approval or admiration; commendation; laudation.
How do we worship?
1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Psalm 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
