LET'S MOVE ON, IF GOD PERMIT

Hebrews 6:1-10 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

And this will we do, if God permit.

Fundamentals
Repentance from dead works.
 Repentance means to change.
Faith toward God.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
To have faith in God is to have confidence in his program. Having a blueprint of a house is to have confidence that there will be a place to live in.
Baptisms.
There are at least three baptisms in scripture.
1. Water baptism.
2. Baptism in the Holy Ghost and,
3. Baptism into the body of Christ.
Laying on of hands.
Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money.
1 Timothy 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Mark 5:23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
Resurrection of the dead.

John 5:28 -29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

            29. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Eternal judgment
Matthew 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
