KEEP IT RIGHT

            Text: Galatians 1:8-9But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

            As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

What is the Gospel?

            1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

² By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

⁴ And that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

Any other gospel is a perversion.

            Galatians 1:6-7 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel.

⁷ Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

What are other gospels?

            Join our church and you will be saved.

            Water baptism will save you.

            Live by the Ten Commandments and you will make it. (Only a pure heart will bring righteousness).

             Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

 The gospel is THE power of God.

          Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

            Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

⁹ Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

¹⁰ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

            1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
