DON'T STOP MARY

          TEXT; Luke 10:38-42 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

³⁹ And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

⁴⁰ But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

⁴¹ And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

⁴² But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Martha's ministry is vital

A.    Food

B.    Drink

C.    Shelter

D.    Clothing

E.    Health

F.     Prison

          Don't stop Mary from hearing Jesus, even to minister to the needy. At the same time, don't stop Martha from helping the needy.

What did Mary hear?

          John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him (Thomas) , I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The way to what?

           Salvation- Healing, 1 Peter 2:24 who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

          Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to;

           Preach the gospel to the poor.

           He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted.

          To preach deliverance to the captives.

          Recovering of sight to the blind.

           To set at liberty them that are bruised.

          John 8:34-36 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you; whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

³⁵ And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

³⁶ If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
