CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

Text: Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.           7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.             A child is born. What will become of this child? Will he become president when he is grown?             A son is given. Who is this son given to?             The government shall be upon his shoulder. Will this baby boy rule the country?             His name (he will be known as) shall be called wonderful, (this young man will be well liked) counsellor (This man will have time for others) , the mighty God, (he will be recognized as GOD WITH US, only God himself can be all of this) the everlasting father (he will take care of us, be there for all our needs), the prince of peace.   Verse seven;                     The increase of his government. This mans kingdom will never stop growing. The kingdom will be a peaceful one.             Upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
